77. Write a song.
I think this is the first song i've completed bridge and all. I'm a bit confused (though I wrote it) as to the true identity of this "Euphoria". But right now it refers the things we compromise our beliefs to do. The superficial things that run our lives amuck in the end. It's really rough and since I haven't got my guitar out i'm almost sure the meter is jacked up, and it sounds better when i sing it than when it's read cuz i know how it's sposed to go, but here goes raw creativity:
Verse 1:
Promises of silver and gold
if only you'd do what you're told
you'd be happier here
Tragic sweet irony
classical symphony
plays in the background as you rebel
open your eyes child and,
Chorus 1:
Welcome to euphoria
arms wide open,
eyes start rolling
in this lust emporium
watch and see what you become
be careful you're not overcome
in this here euphoria
Verse 2:
He offeres you a drink
as you contemplate the risk
but pleasure hides behind the gates
you see it.
Too far to turn back now
Key in the lock and now
he laughs at you, he looks at you and says
Chorus 2:
Welcome to euphoria
arms wide open,
eyes start rolling
in this lust emporium
watch and see what you become
be careful you're not overcome
in this here euphoria
Bridge:
Is this the way you thought it would be?
bound to joyfull misery?
was it worth your soul my dear,
making promises with your biggest fear
Chorus 3:
But you willingly went to euphoria
with arms wide open,
eyes so so knowing
in this lust emporium
watch and see what you've become
and now that it's over and done
curse euphoria
thats so good :)
